Student Wellbeing

SEDA College has in place a team (Student Connect) to support students with any wellbeing issues. Student Connect provides professional wellbeing assistance in collaboration with the SEDA College teaching team and parents/carers.

They work with external practitioners and organisations to ensure all students have access to the best options available. The aim is to develop each student’s capacity to access support services in their local area that are age appropriate and best placed to assist.

We have integrated the learning of Positive Education into the College program. Applying the philosophies of The Resilience Project (Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness), in conjunction with our role as a lead school in the Respectful Relationships initiative, enables a wellbeing focus in the day to day learnings of our students.
