Important IT Changes - January 2024

As part of our ongoing program to improve and enhance our security around Cyber attack prevention, SEDA College is introducing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) controls when logging into MySEDA (the College learning management system). This will impact Staff, Student and Parent access and replaces existing usernames and passwords that will no longer be active.

Staff and existing Students

As of Thursday 18th January 2024 use the Login using Single Sign-On link on https://my.seda.vic.edu.au and log in using your Microsoft 365 account details.

All Parents/Guardians

Please do not attempt to log into MySEDA until you have received your new login account details.

In the next few days you will receive an email with these new account details and the steps on setting up MFA (this needs to be completed before attempting to log into MySEDA). A second mail will be sent with your password. Use these account details and the link Login using Single Sign-On on https://my.seda.vic.edu.au.

New Students

You will receive your Microsoft 365 Account details during your MyPlan Meetings on Wednesday 24th January 2024 and once you have completed the MFA setup you can use the link Login using the Single Sign-On on https://my.seda.vic.edu.au

Mobile Phone App

The MySEDA mobile app has been updated and will only accept the new account details. For those with the app installed this should auto update from Google Play or the Apple App store. Once you have setup your account with MFA you will be able to log in.

For any login issues please contact my@scv.vic.edu.au.

The SEDA Model

The SEDA model places student interest at the forefront of their Senior Secondary education, alongside a practical connection to industry. Students at our school are able to gain a first-hand insight into what it is like to be a part of Australia’s leading organisations and sporting clubs.

The enhancement of our exclusive High Performance Programs in AFL, Cricket and Football (Soccer) also empower eligible students to complete their Senior Secondary education in a high performance training environment.

Our ‘one teacher, one classroom’ model allows our teachers to take on a true mentoring approach, where they walk alongside and support the individual journey of our students as they complete their secondary education.

To maximise student learning and deliver industry-based experiences, classrooms are located in local community settings such as sport, recreation, community and trade facilities.

2023 classroom venues can be located here.

Industry Partners

SEDA College partners with major sporting brands and organisations that facilitate real life industry experiences and student opportunities. The Program integrates VCE VM and Vocational Education and Training (VET) where students are immersed in industry through inductions, community events and work placements. These experiences in combination, enables our students to acquire the skills to support future educational and employment pathways

We proudly partner with these organisations.
