Enrolment Process

All students wanting to attend SEDA College will be required to complete the enrolment process shown below.

Apply

Applications for all programs are submitted via our Online Application Form. Complete an online application form here. The form will only take a few minutes to complete.

Attend an Information Session

Regular Information Sessions are held in various locations around Victoria. Check the Events page for details.

Book an interview

Once you have applied and attended an Information Session, our Admissions Team will contact you to book in for an interview. Students are asked to bring formal documentation to their interview, including their most recent school report, written references and a resume.

Students are asked to select a class venue and sport preferences at their interview to assist with class selection.

SEDA College may undertake further assessment of an application as required prior to a decision being made.

If accepted

Complete enrolment form

Once you have been offered a place, families must complete an enrolment form and pay a deposit to secure your position.

Students who have applied to the Building and Trade Program will be required to undertake a separate enrolment process for their VET Qualifications once accepted into the program.

Attend uniform fitting

Our uniform supplier will be in touch with you to organise a uniform fitting at a suitable time.

Experience Orientation Day

We hold an Orientation Day in November where students meet their teacher and peers at their new classroom venue.

High Performance Program Enrolment Process

Students who have applied for our AFL Victoria, Cricket Australia, Melbourne Victory or Melbourne City High Performance Programs will be required to satisfy our specific eligibility criteria. Please refer to Student Eligibility for further details.

Students applying for our High Performance Programs will attend an information session and an interview as per the enrolment process outlined above. If they are successful at the interview stage students will be invited to trial for a position (note trials are not conducted for the AFL Victoria HPP). If successful at the trial, students will be offered a place in a High Performance Program.

If unsuccessful, students may be offered a place in a Sports Development Program, however, it may not be the student’s preferred class or sport as positions in many of our classes may have filled by this time.
